I spent some time talking about our identities recently, and I’m adding a new one to my own: author.
During the past few years, people have asked me, “When are you writing your book?” Then recently, while speaking at an HR conference, one of the attendees came up after my presentation and asked to purchase my book. She just assumed I had written one and wanted to buy a copy.
So, as scary as it is to put this out here, I am officially announcing that I am writing my book. I’m declaring my goal and will work like heck to see it come to.
By this point, you have an idea that my focus is on living a significant life, a life of impact. This book will include practical and tangible steps to take in order to live in a significant way.
If there’s one lesson my stroke taught me, it’s that at our core, one thing we desire most, consciously or subconsciously, is to know for certain that who we are and what we do, matters.
This is a book that will help you stay focused on the things that matter most.
I hope you’re as excited about this as I am. If you’d like to be among the first to get notified of the progress and completion of the book, click HERE.
There’s something terrifying yet freeing about accountability, isn’t there? I find it motivating.
Thanks for letting me make this declaration to you.
